New Year's Eve Gradient

Happy New Year's Eve!
Are y'all ready for 2015? I am! I'm sure it will be full of new nail polish and nail art techniques!

The look I have chosen to wear to bring in the new year is very simple- a gradient!

I used two coats of Zoya Haven, topped with a gradient of Zoya Thea. I then used a top coat to smooth it all out!

I hope everyone has a safe and happy new year!
See you in 2015! :D

Twinise Thursday: Christmas Stamping

Merry Christmas! I hope y'all enjoy your holiday! Check out Lothwen's cute Christmas mani below! You can see mine on Lothwen's blog! <3

Hello lovelies!
Merry Christmas! It also happens to be Twinsie Thursday, so for me and Samantha it is a double feast. ;) I played Secret Santa and sent Samantha a stamping plate, so that we could coordinate our stamping :D So here is my mani with bornprettystore.com stamping plate BP-01:

I chose a different image for my mani and created this winter wonderland!

My base is Essence "Jacob's Protection" from their Twilight line from 2 or three years ago. The white is Essence white stamping polish and the silver glitter is Rimmel "Shooting Star". What do you think? I like how the snow looks like french tips :)

Now go check out Samantha's mani, because it's super Xmas-y and super cute! And I hope you will all enjoy your holidays!

Revlon Dotticure

Hey y'all!
I'm finally free from final exams, so I'm sure there will be a lot of  posts until the end of the year!
Today I have a super quick and easy nail art look: a dotticure!

I used two coats Revlon Posh and then I dotted on Revlon Silver Dollar.
This look lasted for an entire week! I was very impressed, seeing as I usually get about four days out of a manicure!

Dotticures are my go to nail art look when I'm in a rush. They are quick, easy, and I can do them with about anything!

What is your go to nail art look?

Makeup By One Direction {Rock Me Nail Kit, Liquilights Glow Gloss Trio, & Electro Glam Mascara Trio}

 * The following products were sent to me by Brandbacker for my honest review. For more information, please visit my disclosure policy.*
Hey y'all!
I'm so excited to be back into the swing of things! I've had exams all week, so I've been pretty swamped. Today I have three different Makeup by One Direction kits: the Rock Me Nail Kit, the Liquilights Glow Gloss Trio, and the Electro Glam Mascara Trio!

All of the products below can be found at Macy's, Dillards, Boscov's, Stage Stores, Beauty Brands, and Lord & Taylor. Each set retails for $16.50USD.

Rock Me Nail Kit
This kit came with three polishes and three matching loose glitters. The polishes are UV reactive, but I do not have a UV light to test the reactivity. As you can see in the photos below, Happily and Moments have a jelly finish. Diana, my favorite of the three, is a gorgeous silver glitter.

Happily- Two coats.

Moments- Two coats.

Diana- Two coats.

The kit also came with three loose glitters, which are also UV reactive. I really like the idea of loose glitter, but I always get it everywhere!
Kicks layered over Happily, Star layered over Moments, and Not Afraid layered over Diana.

Liqiuilights Glow Gloss Trio
This trio, like the nail polishes and loose glitter, is UV reactive. I found that these glosses were a bit gritty, as they have glitter specs in them.

Electro Glam Mascara Trio
These mascaras can be used on your eyelashes or in your hair! I've swatched them on my arm below, so you could get a feel for the colors.

This is the second time I've been sent Makeup by One Direction products to review and I still feel the same way about them. I feel like you are paying more for a name than a product. The products are decent, but I'm not sure if they are something I would pull out of my collection to wear on a daily basis.

Visit Makeup by One Direction on Facebook!

What do you think? Would you pick these products up?

Teal & Pink

 * The following products were sent to me for my honest review. For more information, please visit my disclosure policy.*
Hey y'all!
Today's post features some rhinestones from Born Pretty Store and a neon teal from Color Club!

For this look, I used the hot pink rhinestones from the 1800 Nail Art 3mm Rhinestones Wheel Glue Glitter UV Gel (#3076) wheel! This wheel retails for $4.27 USD, which is very reasonable, seeing as you get so many rhinestones! Plus, you can use my discount code below for an extra 10% off!
These rhinestones are 3mm in size, which is the perfect size for anybody! My nails are pretty short, but the stones do not overpower my manicure.
If you are looking for rhinestones, I'd definitely recommend these!

So, what do you think? Will you be picking these up?
